    I think the ilvl sync should always be whatever the highest possible ilvl was when the dungeon was released. So i90 for AK and i130 for AK(Hard), for example.

    [To be clear, im not saying it would sync you up to i130 in AK(Hard). Just if you were above that then you get synced down, like it works now.]

    This allows for speed-running if you want to, but not flat out face-roll roflstomping.

    Which solves nothing, really. WP and AK were being speed ran at i90, to the point where you could ignore almost all boss mechanics. Same is true of all other 4 mans: they were speed ran at their launch without issue.

    When S-E can design trash that does things more interesting than a few AOE circles and occasionally popping out of a scripted wall/spawn point/etc and going "BOO! Spooked ya, first-timer!" I'll be interested in a stricter item level sync.

    As it is, it's bad enough being reduced to 3 buttons whenever I get a bad Animus dungeon pull.

    True, but yus, WP didnt have the oils for the doors so you could run and die to bosses at launch.

    I dont mind the new dungeons as they increased opwer of trash but reduced them a hella lot compared to older dungeons. EG one of the main problems with AV, SV normal is the amount of trash there is, which makes em pretty dull as you spend most of the time grinding through waves and waves of trash.

    I used to tank the roulettes, but refuse to HL roulettes anymore since the IL synk. What's the point of gaining all this gear if they're not going to let you use it in that kind of content as well? In a way its fun to be overgeared and steamroll stuff because we worked pretty hard to get this gear in the first place.

    if pharos got a realistic sync tanks would actually have to not let wolves rape the healer
    and actually pop a cooldown
    and dodge

    and clearly that's just too hard for a damn lot of them

While your attempt to make the tank take them off you is understandable, it was also reckless and the reason why is clearly shown in the recording.

    That was always the biggest issue in that fight. DPS with a 'do it faster' mentality who would ignore the adds and that very quickly lead to a dead healer and a dead tank.The DPS have to take the adds, and trying to take down the 'boss' faster just brings the adds even faster, making it more difficult to handle and leading to a healer running for their life - and a wipe.
