    Going cossed eyed or hypnotized?

So I attempted my first primal EX. Garuda. I watched a little snippet to just see what to expect. Tried to go PF for learning party first. Was taking way too long to get anyone. So I just went DF. Got in there, told them it was my first go at it. They were very helpful, though left one little thing out about the spiny plume. Ok so we wiped.

Someone then did explain the plume. Ok go again. The MT pulled the plume and I got stuck across the map ran through the tornados but it wasn't enough, wiped. MT said ok you take MT, ok. Course now the little hate messages are starting. Whatever don't bother me.

3rd attempt, all is good almost dead. What would have probably been the last spawn of the clones. My eyes are just going haywire, having trouble focusing on the screen from all the fray that has been happening. It felt like I just froze for a couple seconds and couldn't even do anything, almost like blacked out, but still awake. Needless to say by the time I "came to" I lost my add and we wiped. Now I was really hated, but hey it was my fault. But what the heck was that, what happened to me there? Vote abandoned.

I attempted one more go at it but most people were way overgeared above me and couldn't hold onto the adds very long for proper position, now I was despised. Gave it up for the night. Has anyone had this happen in a long drawn out battle with all that stuff going on, or am I losing it and headed for a mental ward?

Like non sarcastic, you should probably just see a doctor immediately if you aren't BSing. This is not normal, even with a lot of stuff going on.

yeah, not only is it not normal, but it's symptoms of what could be a dangerous issue. is it stress + too many stimulants (coffee) + dehyrdation? could be. also could be a mild seizure. go to the doctor asap, especially if it repeats itself.

My niece had this issue a few years back and come to find out it is a form of seizure, do go get checked though. She is now on medication that has helped and episode free for a year.

Yeah I would say it's possible it could be some type of seizure activity. A lot of flashy-ness in video games has been known to bring them on. Might not be that serious, especially if you were under the weather or hyped up on coffee or some other stimulant. But it's a good idea to get it checked just to rule it out.

It's just stress. It's normal. Without any other symptoms, I'd say you were either tired, overstressed, or both. It's normal. If you experience dizzy spells, blurred vision, shortness of breath, slurred speech, etcetera, then ya go see a doctor.

I got cross-eyed last night in Titan HM farming for glamours. Apparently, some people are appalled at the fact some dps still need to LB the heart in order to progress to the next stage of the encounter. Even if they've watched a video (displayed by proper evasion of game mechanics), stated very clearly "Hey guys I'm new here, but watched a vid", and needed to progress the encounter the same way most people did last year is just simply tooooo much to comprehend or tolerate.

In other words, asshatanomia made me go a little cross eyed too.

Difference being they did not say only crossed eyes there were other symptoms and as someone who has a family member that had the exact symptoms they had I suggest going to the doctor ASAP.

He did say that he was having trouble focusing, and literally could not react to what was going on on-screen. He even goes as far as to discribe it as "blacking out".

You're right that it could be stress related, it could also be overstimulation or sleep deprivation, but as someone who has experience with people with epilepsy I would say best bet is to go get checked out as soon as possible. It doesn't hurt to be sure, but it probably won't help just to ignore it.

Maybe another way to explain what it was like. If you've ever drove for an extended period of time and you arrive at your destination and then you realize you don't even remember the drive. Like being on auto-pilot. Except in this one just sat there like zoned out for a couple seconds, no auto-pilot. Could be sleep, haven't been sleeping so well last couple weeks. I only play maybe a few hours a night and sporadic during the day, if I'm home and nothing to do.
