    Spiritbond and Relic quest

    Hi everyone,
i'm near to get my last Alexandrite and i was wandering what was the best or an afficient metod to get those Materia IV.

I saw people spiritbondng at Urth's Gift so i kept 2 Metero survivor ring for faster spiritbonding but i don't know what and how many equip i need for a 100% Materia IV.

Can someone give me an help?

I do not believe there is a 100% T IV materia armor conversion rate. Its still RNG. But higher I.lv armor does increase the odds, most people Spirit bond the level 70 stuff if i recall? Its mildly inexpensive and has a decent conversion rate

Take along 4-6 complete sets of i55ish crafted gear - I'm not sure if crafted i70 works, but if it does, then that would be even better. Go SB'ing in your preferred spot, and convert all of the gear into materia as it completes the SB'ing.

HQ works a lot better than NQ. If you have a bunch of low level materias lying around, add one each to the crafted pieces to make them SB even faster.

The higher the ilevel, the greater the chance of a tier 4. i45, or i46. One of those, I forget which, is the lowest ilevel to get a tier 4 materia, so do not go below that point if you cannot get convertible i55 gear.

BTW - two Meteor Survival rings will slightly speed up the SB rate. They also block the ring slots from being converted. Its up to you, but I'd suggest using rings you can turn into materia, rather than rings intended to slightly speed up the process by which other pieces turn into materia. You'll get more, and over time your materia accrual rate will actually be higher.

What I mean by that is, those rings are meant for when you only have a couple pieces of non-ring slot gear that you need to SB to convert into materia. They are not meant for when you are looking to create a ton of materia. You are looking for specific materia, and the best way to achieve those is by converting as much as possible. Giving up the ring slots to slightly improve the rate at which the other spots SB slows you down in terms of sheer number of materia generated. Make 9 pieces in 30 minutes or 11 pieces in 31 minutes? That is the sort of difference you are looking at.

I've tested bond rings with bond potions and it saves you only a few minutes at best. Much better filling the slots with rings you can bond and play for that extra few min.

ilvl110 craft gear has a 100% tier IV rate

best way is to get ilvl 70 craft (right + left side) and go t4 to bind it
depending on how many materia you put into it it takes 3-5 runs to bind a set of 11 items

ilvl 70 stuff converts to tier IV with ~40% success

you can bind 2 sets per hour which results in ~10 tier IV materia per hour + expensive allagan loots

Your better bet would be to craft it yourself. Or it would be, if you had the crafting classes leveled up.

ilvl 90 is binded with 2 high expert roulette (snowcloak, sastasha or qarn) with 2 melds.
Depends if you could craft it or prices.
