I've been totally out of loop for crafting, but I'd like to get back into it somewhat. What's the easiest way to get the new crafting gear? I have all the crafting classes at 50 so I'm pretty flexible.
Thanks.

Assuming you are able to craft HQ Spruce Plywood, I'd go for that. It's the easiest option to get the token Artisan gear which you can use for all your other crafting classes, because it only requires 1 Spruce Lumber and 2 Horn Glues. You can buy the Aldgoat Horns required to make the Horn Glues from the Kobold trader (requires Neutral reputation - easy enough to achieve).

Since you have all crafts to 50, it'll be waaaay easier to do. Just be sure you have your CRP melded! (Aim for Artisan Main Hand and Headpiece first!)
Ok carpenter it is, thanks guys.
For artisan gear you don't really need to be melded. I got the whole set 2 weeks ago and only melded some spare Control IV I had on my accessories but I am pretty sure I could still reach the requirements for the turn ins with craftmanship food, ilvl55 HQ gear/accessories and ixali gloves.
Thanks for the responses to the other persons questions. I'm soon to get the last of my DOH classes to 50 here in the next few weeks. I'm going to note this thread, so that I can come back to it at that time.
