Maybe I'm just a slowpoke or did Tataru disappear from the Rising Stones this patch? I can't find her anymore as she usually stands behind the desk in there.

I think most of the non core Scions have left on different missions. Considering Tataru's focus on making money it could be she travelled to Ul'dah with the others.
My husband's name is Tataru... He doesn't use the extra -ru for some reason.
Yes, during the lead-in for the Chrysalis trial, all of the non-core residents of the Rising Stones happen to coincidentally head out to other destinations. We'll doubtlessly be running into everyone at various points in 2.5.2.
Always remember, please be careful.
Did she actually mention where she was going? I recall noticing her missing, and I spoke with her before hand but don't remember anything in particular (something about diplomatic duties? didn't give the impression she'd go anywhere though), meanwhile the two adventurers and F'lhaminn had a whole portion of a cutscene dedicated to explaining where they'd be. Did I just miss the dialog explaining her absence or did they really leave it in optional/easy to miss side dialog? I remember spending much of those missions going "Where's Tataru during all this?".
We know she will be in the second half of 2.5 because she is in the trailer and that seems mostly set in Ul'dah. My guess is she went along with F'lhaminn. One of the major things with Tataru lately has been trying to generate enough money to support the Scions. I actually joked with a friend that we will probably eventually see her become a trader of some type. Ul'dah would be a ripe place for her to look for ways to generate income.
