Can't get certain characters to show up in chat

Did you check your key bindings for the game? Might be bound to one of the macro slots?

I did. I cleared out those keybinds (the Shift+number ones) that were for hotbar switching. Still no dice.

I can get all of the other symbols !@#$%&*()_+ to show up but not the ^

I even reset to default and set my keyboard to the english one, still nothing.

Out of ideas.

Anyone else?
