Can anyone reccomend a good controller for FFXIV

I am using a HORI gamepad. Lightning Returns Edition. Plug and play, love the joysticks and that the L/R 2 buttons are click buttons not triggers.

xbox controllers are the best controllers for the pc. any 3rd party ones will have the risk of not working with other games correctly. forgot the name of the brand but i had a 360 controller that was clear and had a led light you could turn on and off. it wouldn't work right with certain games. cheaper and easier to just get a microsoft made xbox controller. they have versions with a modified d-pad that you can turn. it was made for fighting games

I really like using a Playstation 2 controller with a USB adapter. There are lots of good choices!
