Handy Macro

Didn't see this posted anywhere. I find it handy. I am always changing to miner/botanist and immediately hitting Truth of Mountains and Forests. I like to keep both active, but that is optional.

Where X is the gearset number.
You can leave out the second Truth of if you don't care to keep both up.
Depending on your server lag, I think it is possible to remove the first wait state. Try it out yourself.

Hehe been using that one since I got to 50 miner/botanist. Only annoying thing is if changing while mounted since it won't activate them or if you change at the end of a port(just before zoning starts).

Yup. I play on PS3/4/PC w/ Controller. I have my gearset on myhotbar, I didn't even realise you could write a swap macro. I'll be doing this TONIGHT for sure.

One I use for cluster farming, since they made it so wards can't be used unless the corresponding shard/crystal/cluster is exposed.

I use king yield 2 for clusters. It costs 100 more gp but this is not critical for clusters. And works with any cluster type.

Most people use the wards so they don't have to wait as long right after switching to gatherer. You only have to wait for 50 as opposed to 150.

I have 420 after switch and need 500 if hurry or 550 if not. It is not long to wait - node is open 9 min. Choosing which slot to shoot an deciding which spell to cast (in your case) needs time too )

Choosing which cluster to go after is easy, and there is no more time in choosing which Ward than you have in choosing which King's Yield II to use; all Wards are on one macro that I listed above.

Say I want earth clusters:
-I see that I need to hit 7 due to my vertical hotbar, more for reference than anything at this point, so I hit 7
-I hit my ward macro, it tries the other 5 wards but fails since no lightning/earth/wind/water/ice shards/crystals/clusters are exposed. It gets to the earth ward, and that goes through
-I hit my ward macro again, and since I don't have enough GP to use another ward, it gets to the +5% success rate skill and boosts me to 100%

If you have 420 GP immediately when you switch, then you are wearing +20 GP on a job that doesn't use it.
