it's sad really cos the end goal is to have a game there is fun for everyone but doens't favor one type of player over another and the only way the DEV team can take these posts seriously is if there is valid argument form all sides, but with ppl like the OP on these forums thats never really gonna happen.
That the issue Casual = over 80% so they going to listen to them the days of working your butt off for a item and seeing other with it is over ; ;. I remember when i got my monk the hands and feet -.- feet 1/2 and hands 1/6 and everyone like omg how many try it took and they told me they like 0/300 that was just crazy it made me feel great that i had the rare,ex version of the item but there still a way for casual to get it without that much work.

that the issue most casual only want casual events because they going to see the hardcore players having so much fun and doing hard work to get something done that they pretty much did in less then 1hour. it's like so what? we want to work 1year and 150mil to get this full update sword and it took you 1week to do then so what we want to work to feel good about our goals. you still got the item what your big deal just because i got the rare,ex version of the same item you just did within 1week?

See the issue they being selfish they don't want the hardcore to feel good about what we just did. but that a part of the issue with causal vs hardcore. i sit here and say i'm not hardcore and i'm not casual i play ffxiv for 14hours and got pretty much noting done i play ffxi for hours at end and took me 2years to get 75 why? because i like having fun and helping friends. Now at days no one care about helping they only care about themself.

Anyone remember the days you could /sh in ffxi and 10-15 people would help you with mission, quest and Limit breaks? i sure do that days are gone and that ok i can deal with that.

but for the love of god allow hardcore to have something ; ; you can make the same 10 item drop in a bcnm and then have 4 HNM that drop the same thing in rare,ex what the issue with that?
