They say variety's the spice of life..

and though a lot of MMO content tends to lean towards the repetitive, could we PLEASE have more than just 3 dungeons on expert roulette (or whatever roulette we're getting in 3.0)?

Having just 3 dungeons on it is just not conducive to good mental health! Ok, maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration but I'd be lying if I said I haven't developed a certain distate --aversiveness, even-- for at least ONE of the three dungeons. It was the same case back in 2.4. I really disliked landing in Sastasha HM and in 2.5, Wanderer's Palace HM is starting to feel the same way.

High Level roulette feels so fresh by comparison. Some of those dungeons I haven't done in quite a while.

While I agree to some extent, I believe they restrict it to 3 in part to keep the pool from being too diluted which could increase queue times.

I think you could set up some special roulette options, but I believe you'd also need to let GMs be able to restrict access or have a stricter leaving penalty.

Say they introduce a new feature, some witty name, that lets you mix roulettes. Could be bad depending on a number of factors though and would need to be carefully considered. Giving players the ability to choose one or more roulette and when you're accepted into a roulette the bonus is decided by say something like 90% of your primary and 20% of your secondary (also, the one time bonus only activating on the primary). If you picked three perhaps 90, 20, 5 (or whatever the max cap is).

You'd be rewarded greater for being willing to do more content, and you'd be summoned to basically wherever you were needed - filling in gaps. Of course you could just cut to the chase and have a single roulette that enrolled you in everything, this one would need to be watched even closer since the other idea lets you narrow down your contents and this one is basically a "I'm here to help" option. If you're not helpful or vote abandon and rage team from that one content you don't like.. it's very not helpful.

The first idea again would let you set a selection of roulette you were interested in, and the items still of interest. The second idea I think it would be better if there was something like 5-10x the rewards of each boss with a bigger jackpot at the end (netting you most likely commendations, and on average bigger tome-stone payouts), but you can't roll on anything but crafting items. Since the dungeon hasn't been picked you'd be placed into groups who /did/ pick that dungeon and wanted it for a particular reason (like gearing up).

I think its rough since you want to keep the dungeons rotating and no one waiting for long, but if you made an expert roulette with ilvl80-100 people wouldn't want to run it for old crappy gear and if SE made 10 current ilvl dungeons I bet the quality of said dungeons would significantly plummet. So maybe some variations of the above ideas, not necessarily only those, just working in existing roulette with desirable rewards. Another suggestion beyond tome-stone dumping for the reward would be a new token, a token that buys from a store stocked with items from the all non-coil/tower dungeons. I think that sort of token could end up shortening the content's life span more than using tome-stones though.
