A lot of people queue dungeons for all languages in hope of a better queue... I personally don't either because I figure if someone queues under French for example, they're choosing to play with those who speak the same primary language, but a good many people do queue cross language regardless. However in PVP that can get you paired up with an instance that will never ever ever fill up, if its just 1 person who chose French, and maybe 4 or 5 people who chose all language... that's never going to get to 24/72.
If you want to learn how to be effective at PVP, my suggestion is queue for Secure mode only. What you learn there can be applied to Slaughter mode, but doing Slaughter mode won't make you any more effective in Secure mode. Just let the team know you're new, especially if it's a 24 man match, and stick with your party (I know that sounds obvious but so many people go their own way) and you'll be fine.
The Queues are atrocious and SE needs to do something about it. They can no longer ignore this. We aren't talking about an average of 15 minutes (as it was on my datacenter pre 2.5) anymore, we are talking 30+ minutes for a 15 minute match! It is just unacceptable. You can't do much while in queue either )or at least the stuff I really want to work on), so I am just literally sitting there, just waiting
Keep this thread alive, Hopefully it will get SE's attention![]()
Any deficiency in a GC's populationSadness. For Primal, it seems like Flames are extremely lacking in members for the time being. They are why we have had such bad queue times.

Removing GCs removes the competitiveness and without that, whats the point?![]()
I mainly PvP just to PvP :/ The GC/competition thing doesn't really matter as much to me.
Also people all jumped ship to whoever was winning ~the most~ which is what is making queues so bad. Always a lot of Storm queuing and maintaining though... Adders/Flames flip flop.
I am pro server vs server. With the shortages being filled out by more active servers. So Gilgamesh ques up 31 (all adders probably) They get one team with the extras going to Fairie who only qued 17. It already groups us up across data center anyways.
I understand that this model promotes premade. I will go as far as to say let us que as an alliance. I am sure if people had instant pops they would take 10 losses in a row. 10 losses with max losing buff is probably more xp then some people get in a week. Probably only take 90ish mins. I am sure someone could do the math of rewards for 10 losses. I know now in 90 mins with 3 wins i am only getting 1800 marks.
I would hope it would group up the small pvp communities on the servers. More people on chat and more people trying to do team stuff. If we could reserve instance on server some of the more active servers could probably have 8vs8vs8 matches with out anyone other server. I worry that with out some sort of team atmosphere it would diminish pvp. I already see that lots of regular rank 45s aren't queing for slaughter for some reason.
Just make anyone allowed to queue as anything. Having one side lose 10 times in a row to get fast queues is not a good solution when just removing all restrictions would both fix the queue times while keeping it fair.
