2* 100% HQ token item NQ 1* mat (full melds required) (No Lucis Tool)

I haven't seen anyone post this, and it took me a while to get fully figured out, so I figured I would post it.

This is for 2* token items, with the 1* item being NQ. I have confirmed this works for spruce plywood with HQ horn glue and NQ lumber:

    Minimum stats required are:
407 crafts (you will likely have much more by this point)
    414 control (Supra+ artisan off-hand+ 4 control melded on off-hand)
398 CP (355 CP base+ HQ Bouliabasse (This means fully melded, artisan off-hand, and +3cp melded on off-hand))

    The rotation I used was:

    Step 1:
    /ac "Comfort Zone" <me> <wait.2>
    /ac "Inner Quiet" <me> <wait.2>
    /ac "Steady Hand II" <me> <wait.2>
    /ac "Waste Not II" <me> <wait.2>
    /ac "Basic Touch" <me> <wait.3>
    /ac "Basic Touch" <me> <wait.3>
    /ac "Basic Touch" <me> <wait.3>
    /ac "Basic Touch" <me> <wait.3>
    /ac "Steady Hand II" <me> <wait.2>
    /ac "Basic Touch" <me> <wait.3>
    /ac "Basic Touch" <me> <wait.3>
    /ac "Basic Touch" <me> <wait.3>
    /ac "Steady Hand" <me> <wait.2>
    /ac "Great Strides" <me> <wait.2>
    /echo Macro step 1 complete <se.1>

    step 2:
    /ac "Innovation" <me> <wait.2>
    /ac "Ingenuity" <me> <wait.2>
    /ac "Byregot's Blessing" <me> <wait.3>
    /ac "Careful Synthesis II" <me> <wait.3>
    /ac "Careful Synthesis II" <me> <wait.3>
    /ac "Careful Synthesis II" <me> <wait.3>
    /ac "Careful Synthesis II" <me> <wait.3>
    /echo Macro step 2 complete <se.1>

0 CP left over, and 98% on all normal procs, and if even 1 basic has a good condition (happened 19/20 times for me) it is 100% HQ.

This is my first time posting a macro I created, so if there is any info that I'm missing, I apologize. Let me know, and I will add it.

If you have full melds, you can easily complete the recipe with INGII and only 3x CSII.

I've found it faster just to 2-step the mats and do a manual synth. 40 HQ brocades takes about 70 minutes, including mats. Using macros to HQ 2 of the mats then another for the synth itself would take over 90 minutes.

that is very true. however, when I used ING2, I had to lose a touch in order to have the CP for the difference, which resulted in ~90% HQ. I Loathe Hasty touch, and have steadfastly refused to do any crafts that require it for HQ.

This is mainly to find a clear use for all the NQ spruce lumber that is received from desynthing bridesmaid sandals for FC3's. this allows them to be turned into mastercrafts, which greatly increases the profit margin.

edit: also, this doesn't require full melds of crafts, only CP and, to a lesser extent, control. Crafts can actually be below supra level if preferred

edit 2: actually, with how low horn glue is to HQ, the macro I use (IQ, GS, SH, inno, AT, GS, AT, BB, CS2) for it takes 24 seconds to complete. +3 seconds between, so lets say 30 secs per. plus 54 seconds for this macro, would be 76 minutes total per 40 HQ plywoods. personally, that's close enough for me, to not have to worry about manual synths. of course, this is assuming you don't make the lumber yourself, and had already obtained it through the desynth.

also, if my calculations are correct, this also works for 1 HQ twin, 1 NQ twin, 1 NQ silver ingot.

If that's the case, I personally would replace WNII with Manipulation and ING with INGII.

It's the same 7 touches either way, and I think 1 and 2 stars get the same boost to touches/BB from ING and INGII. The difference for me is that I cross Mani and INGII, but not WNII or ING, and swapping out skills would be annoying.

okay, I just got home. How much crafts do you have, for 3 cs2 progress under ING2? assuming no lucis tool (because lucis tools are more work than im likely to ever want to put in) and FULLY melded everything else (+18 crafts, +4 control, +3 cp on off-hand), im sitting at 465 Crafts, which is not enough for 3 touch cs2. it runs out at 411/419.

also, can you post the rotation you would use, that allows 7 basics with sh2, and just manipulation? im just curious, because I fiddled with the crafting optimizer for like 4 hours the other day, and couldnt even get close using manipulation, without use of any non 100% success skills (no hasty, rapid, or TotT).

I do agree with you, though. the cross class skills I use on my classes are generally cs2, WN, WN2, manip, SH2, inno, ing, ing2, CZ, PbP, Byregots (losing one depending on which class im using.), but if you are a fan of the hasty RNG stuff, I could definitely see losing ing and wn2 for them.

Lucis is not that bad, I grind hippo skins (leather) and raptor sinews turn them into Militia choker as GC turn in (633 seals each without FC buff), took me about a week to get 160 moonstone then another day to use 102 levequest to get the items that are needed to craft tokens.

I'm at work so no exact numbers, but I've got lucis and 490ish craftsmanship.

I was doing some of these last night, and getting 149 per CSII. Looks like you're getting 137 per, and need 140, so I would guess around 472 Craftsmanship to be able to 3 step it.

    The rotation is pretty much the same as yours, CZ > IQ > SHII > 5xBT > Mani > SHII > 2xBT > SH > GS > INGII > Inno > BB > 3xCSII

Did a couple runs, 468 craft is enough to hit 140 on a INGII + CSII. I could work at a couple points lower, I don't have the gear to test it.

yep. 468 is not possible without a lucis tool, 465 is the max possible meldable.

ill update the thread to reflect that. if you have a lucis tool, yes, this rotation is moot.

Does not work for me. Have 491/426/398 and after macro hits Byregot only 23cp available -> NQ
