Saw some cute Miqote in a Royal Vest (CT) a couple of weeks ago and I said, "gotta have that".

So I spent two weeks running CT non stop on SCH and finally get it on maybe my 30th run.

Equip it and I'm like "mehhhhhh". Definitely let down with how it looks on me. #facepalm lol

Anyone else spend tons of time farming stuff only to be let down when they actually get it?

Doesn't the Try On feature help prevent this?

It helps but seeing it equipped vs. in a tiny window is different. Also don't know how to try on unique, untradable.

Seeing an item in the open world is better of course, but using the zoom in feature on Try On helps some too. You can try on ANYTHING, even if you don't have the class unlocked yet. You can Examine another character and try on all their stuff; you can try on gear from npc shops and the market board, no restrictions.

eta: Would be neat if the Try On interface had the same background/lighting as what you have in character creation, but I guess this is too much?

eta2: Oh, you can also try on items linked in chat now. I tried on a FC member's Ragnarok yesterday this way.

Not always, especially when you start running with your new outfit just to discover that you look dumb with it xD

To OP : yeah, I understand the pain. Did many crazy farms just to notice the same feeling

Yep. Spent 2 weeks getting all the drops for the Varlet tank set from the new dungeons. Equipped it all and realized I look hideous and not as cool as I thought it would. Immediately exchanged it for seals
