Three Stat-points "Missing" from Excalibur + Aegis Relic

I know that this issue has been floating around, but I had no first-hand knowledge of it (even among my friends) so the moment that I got my second relic, I compared the stats.



Apocalypse

Int 45 => 51 ( +6 )
Vit 47 => 54 ( +7 )
Accu 18 => 20 ( +2 )
Det 23 => 25 ( +2 )
Crit 35 => 37 ( +2 )

Excalibur

Str 32 => 36 ( +4 )
Vit 38 => 43 ( +5 )
Accu 24 => 25 ( +1 )
Parry 26 => 28 ( +2 )
Det 5 => 5 ( +0 )

Aegis

Str 13 => 15 ( +2 )
Vit 15 => 17 ( +2 )
Accu 7 => 7 ( +0 )
Parry 10 => 10 ( +0 )
Det 5 => 5 ( +0 )

Total of Apocalypse Stat Increase: 19
Total of Excalibur + Aegis Stat Increase: 16

it comes from Det scaling.

with no Determination on both sword & shield, you would have had more stats overall.

Also, your i115 S&S had one point more than your Veil if you count right (total of 82 secondary stats on Apocalypse for 80 on Excalibur and Aegis)

the maximum you can have is 85 secondary stats btw

Ah, thanks for the explanation. I wasn't able to take a screenshot of previous stat increases so I wasn't able to compare until now.

yeah, Piety and Det don't scale that great if you only have a few points in. It's better to have either a lot or not at all (I'm missing 3 points on my ragnarok due to Det scaling : 82/85, with a similar build than your apocalypse)

The scaling depends on which stats you put on the items and what amount. As explained in that reddit post there are certain break points.
