Ok, here are the Negative effects of HUNTS I noticed and reports I gathered these pass few mths, since HUNTS are in play.
Negative Health issues
Hearing loss: Primary due to the overwhelming of shouts and yells and Flares and Medica II going on around adventures during HUNTS.
Damaged eyesight: Flares and Holy need I say more? Seriously guys, do we really need AoE on them A mobs
"Overcure" symptoms: There are 2 reported types. First one is the adventurers' body built up a resistance to to healing spell, resulting in healing spells becoming less and less effective. Second is Healing spell addiction, in which the body developed a dependence to Healing spells, symptoms are runny nose, poor eyesight, muscle fatigue, etc. Symptoms generally goes away are a healing spell is cast on them.
Negative effects on the Environment:
Declining Wildlife: Also due to Flare and Holy and other AoE spells. Surrounding wildlife that are caught in the crossfire dies, worst damage when an "S" pops.
Damaging to Beastmen relations:
This is straight forward, I personally have no love lost with them, but, every time an "A" or "S" pops, it results like an all out invasion into their territory. Not great at building relations or asking them to stop summoning primals.
Other reported incidents:
Inhalant abuse : Only recently discovered that inhaling Carboncoat fuses can induce delusions and paranoia, effects may differ from individuals or jobs, like Jumpy Dragoons, Depress Blacking Mages, Over positive White Mages, etc.
Research are still been conducted on Poor, Desperate, Malnourished and illiterate refugees in Ul'dah, under fair and safe environments. Till then, we may not know the full extend of this new vice.
Final Notes:
Yes, this is not a perfect world, but we sure as hell can make it a better place for everyone and everything.
By the way, Oil of Time massages and Sands of Time facial masks don't work. Seriously, those are snake oils.
