Interesting.. I'm going to talk this over with the static and see how they feel with the changes.

The biggest things I foresee here: I absolutely must handle the Holmgang correctly. Is there a particular point in the cast bar (is there a cast bar for Wild Charge? My mind is blank on that for some reason) where I should hit Holmgang? And I saw a Warrior in a video stand at the tip of the forward arrow of Imdugud's hit box, is that ideal?

Second: keeping Defiance on longer for the adds. Will that render the extra strength moot, or not make a great difference overall?

Ideally you want to pop it near the end of the cast in case you get gibed by Crackle Hiss. CH will hit for 3k-ish after you get knocked down to 1, so if your healers can get you above that before the CH then timing won't be as big an issue. But the timing Layla Bell did in this video is pretty much ideal.

P4 adds are kinda super tricky to begin with because of how long both tank's adds will technically last. It's also very dependent on when LB happens and how low everything is when it does. Dropping Defiance and popping CD combos (Veng or Thrill + Conv) here is pretty much what you'll need to do to maximize DPS, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're also picking up the set of adds that spawn due to all the aggro problems you'll face. If STR accessories cause you to stay in Defiance too long, use a Ruby/VIT accessory or two, you just need to find your balance.

Last night our LB wasn't even close so they had to burn the Paladin's adds before third set spawned. Then we did LB3.

Yeah we are at the point where we should probably just save the LB for the last phase. It used to be a nice period to increase DPS but it adds melt so fast now there really isn't a point to use mage LB especially once you are waiting on it.

I didn't save the parse but I finished at 299 on PLD. Our WAR was definitely higher like 350-360.

I just don't understand. We did the method of me OT entire fight except my adds. I minimized Defiance time on adds, and other than that I just SE - BB with Fracture up on Imdugud.

On a training dummy for 3 minutes I did 395 without potions and trick attack, so I figured 400 would be definitely attainable with all the uptime. However, I did have to drop Fracture for a while and my TP bottomed out in last phase (took a lot for me and MT to get Paeon).

I mean I guess maybe the TP struggle wrecked me, but I only hit 340. I really thought I was gonna pull 400 as hard as I was pushing and my rotation barely being affected.

I just don't understand why I\\'m not doing numbers other warriors are posting. Do secondary stats really matter that much? I am no where near BiS and have terrible secondary stats. My t10 set has around 600 Str in party, 438 crit, and 265 Det with food. Also, a disgusting 611 accuracy.

I just can't imagine dropping that accuracy giving me 60 more dps.

The tp is indeed part of the problem.
My party doesn't have ninja, so no trick attack, I also don't potion in t10 anymore.

Last week I was about 400 before I started running out.
Near the end I dropped to 320-340.
stats on that run: 594 str, 282 det, 499 crit (without food, not in party)

Our WAR finished at 395 this week. Required a few ticks of Paeon in the last phase.

He is pretty much BiS plus Ragnarok. I didn't pay attention to which accessories he was using.

If you are using controller, you MUST use Standard setting to maximize DPS. I think that might be your problem. In my FC, me and one other WAR can do 450+.

Use Defiance only when you have Unchained and so on. Also we Holmgang the Charges.
