I dont need to do any research because I just left a FLs match and witnessed this with my own eyes. All I'm doing is presenting what I've witnessed and seen to be true: facts. I'm not trying to make myself out to be better than anyone, if you feel I'm better than you then maybe you should deal with your inferiority complex on your own time and not in a public forum.

Healers tend to be bunched up due to medica, prism and such, all it takes is two mages to do the aoe sleep and lock the healers and there is nothing they can do against a twin mage LB if its cast at the same time, when two teams gang on one, this happens alot.

There might be a slight misconception on Sacred Prism too, the reality being it only reduces physical damage. That and there's a lot of people used to bunching up on a flag in Secure. I "think" Focalization would be the healer counter to it, but I'm not sure if Cometeor actually counts as magic or unaspected.

Played old Frontlines
Enjoyed it as healer for the tactics
Everyone goes around the flags and makes it ok to heal even with the odd interupt

Played new frontlines
Hated it as healer for the black mage LB which two shots us while we sleep,
then your team shouts at you for being a crappy healer.

IF square was trying to make frontlines more popular and fun, Yeah it worked, FOR ALL THE CASTERS.
As a healer I refuse to play it anymore.

Tanks shouldn't be in the clump that is getting slept or you're bad.

You also can break sleep using purify, you can also use purify on a slept target. You can healer lb immediately after the first cometeor, since it breaks sleep to negate at least 1 cometeor.

Outside factors can also break sleep. A pld from the other team that scorned, a shadowflare on the ground people are standing in, the node AE.

Additionally, you can also have good melee or tanks or a caster with a well timed sleep to interrupt LBs if they are playing with their head up and know what to look for.

A single meteor is more than enough to kill a single or even multiple people. And no amount of defensive cds will save you from a spam, trust me I've tried, even under the influence of a tank lb, sacred soil, and focalization. You're gonna get hit hard.

Put 4 points into vit, add a fending accessory. If you're going to be dumb and not ever try to counter, why even complain?

We've survived cometeor spams multiple times and have also done coordinated sleep+cometeors that were properly countered yielding no kills. According to you, this isn't possible.
