I don't know, there's only 300 years between bikinis and t-shirts and real life. And the Ironworks gear? That is so absurdly futuristic. With such armor in-game, I don't think ANY kind of clothing at this point would be immersion-breaking.
The only thing that disappointed me with Glamour is having tanks run around in Bikini's or event gear that is that far apart from their actual role.
However I can definitely get behind some more casual clothing, would be pretty interesting to see, specially in later new town hubs as it might look a little weird for one of the main 3 city states.
All of the jewlery in Eorzea looks the same...
While more unique sets for classes would be nice, on the other hand, if each set was class-specific in dungeon drops, I think it would be a huge pain since the chances of getting a drop for any class would be a lot rarer for everybody. Lol
More unique sets in exchange for seals/tomes/etc., though, yes.

Well that is the power of Magitek.
With Magitek main source of advancement is combining Magic and Technology they can eeasily create things thousands of years ahead of their time as the Garlean Empire has shown due to how it harness Aether as a pure source of energy.
Heck the Ironworks Gears and Weapons are only the Generation 1 versions of their future planned mass produced weapons and gears.

Since the t-shirt was based on underwear from the 19th century, it kinda would. The circumstances for the popularity of the t-shirt don't exist in eorzea, while the circumstances for a lot of the other clothes (yes, including the chocobo and moogle suits and bikinis) currently exist. The camise and undershirt items currently occupy the role the t-shirt did around its popularization.
If we DO get a t-shirt, it'll most likely have buttons on it. A "plain" t-shirt without buttons would be, well, plain. And very few garments in this game can be considered "plain" beyond color.
Technically they're based off of ancient tech in combination with steampunk-esque tech. The allagans kinda had a tron aesthetic going for them that Garlond Ironworks copied. Magical runes can strongly resemble "tech" tron lines, after all.
I'd be happier if we atleast be able to dye these gears rather than be stuck with reskinned gear
I agree with this. I made a thread about this months ago but every1 ignored me.
Well to be soecific i dont like that For example ironworks gears For healers r the same For whm and sch. Y dont they add a single gear For each Class. Y sharing with other classes?
addition of more variety is always a good idea
/support.
I would love to see many more glamor /vanity sets added covering the silly whimsical side (which they do seem to favor sadly) and more so, gorgeous fantasy styled gear.
Some shoes/boots with higher heels would be nice too SE -.-
All gear should be dyeable as well by this point, nothing should be introduced without the ability to dye it imo, from the oldest gear to the newest that's acquired from any means.
♥ MORE HIGH HEELS + INSTANCED HOUSING! ♥!
