    please add more unique outfits

it bothers me a little when jobs have the same outfits just with different color schemes
for example the gear from the new dungeons, bard, healers and casters share the same gear just with a different color pattern. it just annoys me and my friends and makes us feel like they are just reusing gear for other classes to save time/money.

I actually don't mind that they have the progression gear on their cheap cut and paste template... I would like to see more vanity gear that isn't adventurer specific that you'd see a civilian wear (Victorian era outfits! Civilian clothes from all the city states!) That has a lot more personality than crazy armor pieces from wild adventures.

not saying i don't like it in fact you can just glamour over it but it just annoys me, that being said would still like a variety when it comes do end game gear

The only thing that bothers me is that the new Monk gear from WoD and the new dungeons looks like Ninja gear ;(

No thanks SE, I'd like my funky monk gear back please!

The new expert dungeons, MNK, NIN and DRG all share the same model.
Theres 3 new models :S Albeit I did glamor the healer chest from experts onto the ironworks, due to (well I like the design, wish the bottom half was a bit less ostentatious) becuase clipping ^_^

I want more form fitting looking heavy armor. I much like the Odin's set(Sans the torpedo tit chest). By heavy, I mean it looks heavy but can be glamoured onto anything.

That would be the reason. They will reuse stuff wherever possible to get the most mileage out of their work. Same reason for making hard modes of all the dungeons instead of every dungeon being completely new. I guess the more unique stuff we ask for, the more we'd have to be willing to pay for it.

unfortunately, design resources are limited. The reason outfits look similar is that designing and testing 8+ different variations of about 6 different outfits every three months can be strenuous. There's also the desire, conscious and subconscious, to make them look like uniforms.

And here I am wondering why in a game where people can dress like they came out of Tron, I cannot have a plain T-shirt.

If you look into historical outfits, there were MUCH more elaborate designs instituted before the simple t-shirt. "plain" T-shirts only really became popular because they're cheap to produce, buy, replace, and decorate thanks to mass production.
Eorzea, however, doesn't have proper mass production. Thus each piece of clothing is either made in an incredibly simple fashion (smocks, robes, and the like) or an elaborate work of art.
Plus the regular t-shirt can be a little...immersion breaking.
