Katar are already in game as the various Patas and Jamadhars models for monk weapons.

I'd love to see some type of job with dual 1h swords for weapons.

We need a Whip wielding class. Something like a Beast Tamer/Trainer or smth. I would be really nicely in FFXIV world. Also a Quistis Trepe named NPC would be nice as guild leader. I'm surprised they didn't think about whips yet.
