Hello, I just wanted to take a moment and make Square Enix aware of an issue I encountered today. If anybody has any feedback on this issue that may help me in the future were this a problem on my end, then please let me know.

Earlier I had about a minute-long loss of internet access due to a wind storm we were having which logged me out of FFXIV and seemed to trigger an account lock. This is not the issue.

The issue came when I received the email to reset my password. For some reason, the email I received would not display properly on my Mac (I play on PS4). This meant that a large portion of the link I was to follow was not included, link or otherwise, in my email I received. Luckily I was able to read the same email on my phone which had no issues, but I wanted to make everybody aware of the issue since this is such a critical function in keeping your account secure and accessible.

The parts of the email that could not be read was the latter half of the link I needed to follow, as well as all the info about copying and pasting would the link not work. In it's place was just a jumble of letters and numbers that were NOT part of the link. I use the basic mail service that comes with the iMac so I don't know if that helps or not.

Again, I hope this makes everybody aware of what appears to be an issue that could leave you locked out of your account for quite some time (assuming you don't have other machines to read emails on).
