I receive so many that my chat log is never in a position that doesn't have a gil seller tell advert in it, and I report and do blacklisting every single one. I feel defeated and abandoned by SE. I received 5 before I could even move my character one step as I logged in this morning.

We really need to have implemented the following tools:
  • Auto report spam (command or right click action)
  • Separate blacklist for spam with higher limit, automatically apply reported names to this list
  • The ability for players to create their own /tell filters.
  • Allow players the option to receive messages only from a white list
