Getting to 38 took me... a long time... maybe months? But the weekly challenge log speeds it up a lot, doing them all gets you 50% EXP for your next rank. For me it didn't feel like a grind at all, seriously nothing in this game can give you the thrill of a head on head race for points in FL.
