    Why did Summoner get Blizzard 2 when they already have a bind?

    I just tried to use Blizzard 2 to get DPS and its.... not recommended. While it seems good in theory, it sucks up mana like nothing else. I think the idea behind Tri-Disastor was to bind enemies, then use Bane to affect all enemies (DoTs dont break bind). However since they usually resist, I never find myself trying this and the bind is almost instantly broken by other DPS the second it goes off. Blizzard 2 can be used as a means of holding off enemies when you get agro, though that never happens in my experience and they usually beat me down before I know what hit me.

    I'd still rather keep blizz2 over Tri-disaster, just because it has lower cast time (1.94s vs 2.91s), takes less mp (212 vs 266) and does more dmg (50 potency vs 30 potency). Only thing tri-disaster does better is that its ranged but that doesnt really do anything, apart from Wolves den.
    Blizz2 can be useful when theres group of trash thats just about to die, so its not really worth putting dots on them and doing 50 potency vs 2 targets is already better than spamming ruin (80 potency on 1 target). Boss fights, not so much.

    Weren't SMN given Blizz 2 as compensation for removing Thunder? Or was it always an option?

    It's pretty bad regardless.

    Yep. Its not amazing but usually not all crossclass skills are that good. I'd rather complain at about BLM and SMN getting Hawks eye. Omg dex buff. Since people already are above accuracy cap, the other side of the skill does nothing.

    Or compensate for nerfing bane limited by 3 players. 2.0 summoner was really good wp speed runs cause no dot limitations.

    Dont think it ever hit more than 3, just the range was increased by 3y but I could be wrong since im too lazy to dig up patchnotes.

    Yeah, as it says, "Now correctly states that itzs spread to a max of 3 targets". That's not a nerf, its just retooling the tooltip.

    To augment Summoner's small AoE capability probably. It's pretty niche; I saw a Summoner using it during the four Demon Walls in Amdapor Keep (Hard Mode).
