Whatever it is, it should not be hated behind content that already offers end game weapons (ex primals and coil). I am quite behind on the weapon but I would be disappointed to see something as un interesting as X poetics. I'm actually hoping for something that reveals more of the story.
Mad.
Now casuals and people who hate Ramuh EM will hate me to death but I would enjoy something like Zodiac but instead of dungeons - with EM primals (all of them) and CT 1-3 also a few crafts with special materials from a few B hunts. Maybe finished with instance where I would have to fight Yoichi so he would let me to use his full-power bow. That instance might be 1v1 fight heavy on AoE, so it would be possible to do it solo without heal/tank, because it will rely only on AoE dodging.
I am really not being sarcastic, I would enjoy it as I enjoyed every stage of relic.
I'd be so happy if it was just to clear all the EM primals. It would be too quick and easy though, so we should have to clear them 30 times each or something. lmao We could get ponies while doing it.![]()
Make it a bit more of a challenge. What if the final step of the zodiac quest line will be simple as the zenith, like buy an oil for 1300 poetics (i.e) and thats it!, you are done with the ilvl 135 wep, would you be mad because its easy? or you will be relieved because you cant take any more grinding/RNG based content ?
The oil should be a Gold Saucer prize and you have to play around 3 days Gold Saucer games to earn enough GS points for it.
Or you get it by winning Triple Triad against Rowena (I bet her deck is full of powerfull rare cards).

As someone who has found the relic quest chain process tedious enough already I would very much enjoy something simple with 1-2 steps. Trade in 900 poetics tomes for a special soul glaze. Have soul glaze applied. Have to fight the original owner of the weapon for the final light/soul/spirit upgrade the weapon needs to be forever awesome.
What am I expecting is some god forsaken mash up of every other prior part of the quest chain up to this point.
