Solution to the Armoire storage limits

You guys posted here that the Armoire has a limit to the amount of stuff that can be stored in it. If this is true why not create a new storage item?

For example call it the "Mog Wardrobe" It could look like a storage wardrobe with a mog etched on the door. It could be found in the Inn and as a crafted furnishing for houses.

There is a lot of level 50 cap gear that people may want to store. With 2.X and level 50 era ending with the release of Heavensward a lot of people won't be using their level 50 gear anymore when the new level 60 cap is out and we all need to get lv60 gear. However people may want to hold on to their level 50 gear to glamor on a level 60 piece if they are going for a classic look.

Have different tabs to store the following gear
    -dungeon gear
    -darklight gear
    -mythology gear
    -solidary gear
    -poetics gear
    -coil gear
    -crystal tower gear

To keep character data from getting much larger you could put in the same restrictions as the armoie, such as, the gear must be repairs to 100%, spritbond gets reset as do dyes and glamors.

I believe they will be adding more items to the calamity salvager to solve the problem. That way, once you unlock an exclusive (one-time) reward but don't have the room to store it, you can just throw it away and buy it again and again when you need it. This allows us to continue to utilize things we've won and solves the data limit on the Armoire (which instead will be used for items you need access too frequently to save yourself from buying them over and over).

I actually don't buy the server resource limit argument on Armoire. All you need for it is to store the item iD. That's it. Because each item stored inside is reset to its default status, it clearely doesn't need to store anything but the item ID. Retainer, yes, I can believe that. But the Armoire?

I believe it's mostly just part of a marketing strategy to promote the additional retainer subscription, and partly just the development process being too rigid and nobody really want to be "that guy" who points to the elephant in the meeting room.
