    Emotes you like to see in 3.X era.

    We know new Emotes tend to be release with new patches, and maybe with Expansions, so what type of emotes do you wish to see in FF14 as a future content?

    Me I would like...

    /punch (for those imaginary fist fits, sake of punching someone, and RPers may have a ball with this emote.)

    /facepalm (we really need this for those derp moments)

    /examineweapon (so we can have our character check out their own weapons. We already see NPCs use this emote a lot)

    hmm, I would like to see a /orz though. /disappoint is kinda similar, but I want the animation during the last kneeling part to be persistent.

    Would like to see some emotes that work as one animated unit, I'm not set on a method of activation but I think having animations connect would add a lot to authenticity. Perhaps defaulted to friends, option in the game settings to force a request for each event, or allow all with a convinent text command /jemote (joint emotes on / off) with an optional parameter "friends" "everyone".

    Add hug, slap, handover, embrace. (High five, joint dances, pose(s)). Could be interesting to see the Fable hand holding, but I imagine you may need to make it behave like a mount (making one the leader and the other the follower), to avoid using dynamic physics that may cause extra stress. Talking about joint emotes, how about tossing lalafells into the air like Raubahn has done to Nanamo, incoming all lalafells receive friends request just so they can be tossed.

    How about Praise the Sun emote? Avoid copyright, Praise Heavensward.
