I'd prefer if they added a Glamour Catalogue/Library, one of my retainers is full of nothing but old gear for purposes of Glamour, would free up over 150 slots of space if they added this.

maybe if you had every peice of a gearset, you could drop it into a box so it only takes up one slot

ohhh yes! FFXI had NPCs that did this, though it was kind of limited to RSE and AF/Relic sets. However, it also had seasonal store NPCs, and later on, Moogle Porters, and many new inventories added too.....

2. ability to mail ANY item to my alts.

Actually, in the case of the Armoire, it IS as simple as this. This is why the Armoire requires that you repair the gear to at least 100% before storing, and warns you that spiritbond will be reset to 0%. I believe it also strips your item of glamour. In the Armoire, either you have the item or you don't.

This is QUITE ACCEPTABLE to me, and should by all rights require VERY little data to store, literally a 1 or a 0 for each item, as you mentioned. Of all the things in the game that require memory, it kind of boggles my mind that this particular case should be any kind of show-stopper. The Armoire should be able to store thousands of pieces of gear, and still require far less data storage than even a single page of a character's inventory.

I can assure you that, as an owner of four retainers, with all jobs leveled, just by collecting -only- green/blue gear from lv15 and up, I do not have enough space to store anything past ilvl80.

You're really not meant to hoard that much lowbie gear and I guarantee there's a ton of stuff there that you could ditch and you wouldn't even miss it.

It is far from SEs fault that your inventory is an absolute disaster, nor is it their responsibility to help you try to collect every item in the game. Seriously, why do you have all of that? You really need to keep every green or better than you come across?

There are people with everything at 50, that stockpile glamour gear AND craft a ton, and they still have plenty of inventory to go. It's amazing what a minimal amount of inventory management will do.

Signed, we need more (free) space to store stuff. In a game that encourages you to collect weapons and armor for every class all on the same character, there's just not enough space for it all.
