XI-2 was released this past September, or didn't you notice?

I can't believe how many of you are out there. Are you ppl really that dense that the only commonalities you can see between the two games are wpns/hp/jobs/w/e other stupid, insignificant stuff ppl keep comparing? Are you in denial? Have you ever even played XI? If you could find a handful of ppl who had never played any FF titles in their life, sit them down in a room, and have them play FFXI, then FFXIV (with a few adjustments), they would think XIV was just an elaborate expansion pack. What a ridiculous thread, you say?

Sorry chief but most of the people on here have played a lot if not all of them. If you don't realize that every single FF has its own common theme of items/NPCs/Jobs/Characters, and pretty much every MMO has common themes(most of which are lacking in XIV for that matter) , and that when combined, FF and MMO will always be a similar idea, then I really feel bad for you. Sorry you got "outraged". You're trying to come of as some sort of Final Fantasy/MMO expert but you really have no idea how clueless you sound to someone who has followed the series since the 80's. Maybe you can calm down by educating yourself a little.

You don't have to educate yourself on what went on before you were born to understand how similar two things in the "present" are, to one another. I'm not trying to come off as an expert at all, actually. I'm just stating the obvious. Play FFXI for 6 years or so, come play XIV, and then tell me the similarities are "coincidental" because both games share the same source.

-I don't even know what you're talking about. Everyone keeps talking about the generic aspects of the game that would, obviously, be a common aspect of every FF game. That's not my "beef" with XIV. The fact that they copied so much from XI, SPECIFICALLY (except for what was great about it), is what I (and so many others) am pissed about.
