It would be a bit awkward to do all the time.... but maybe you could try forming a light party and seeing if the Strength bonus from having a melee DPS in the team works?![]()

The requirements needed to be able to increase the amount of times you can gather at a node is a set value between each race’s stats. The races you pointed out have racial stats that do indeed not meet the requirements for specific nodes; however, if we were to adjust the nodes mentioned in this thread there may still be situations where other nodes or races might not meet the natural stat requirements to increase the amount of times they can gather at these special locations.
The gathering nodes are set up so that any race can gather from any node, but by making adjustments to stats by melding material, making use of potions, or using food buffs, any race can also get the full advantage of these special nodes. We would like if players tried various methods to achieve these additional gathering attempts.
For gathering node requirements, we’ll continue to make sure the difficulty to meet the requirement isn't too far apart between races moving forward.

Yeah, Seeker of the Sun here, melded 2 INT to a ring. Although seeing the suggestions to join a party, or carry around low level stat pots to get that extra gather once every few times around the gathering circuit are interesting think-outside-the-box ideas, I'm still looking through my CUL Masterbooks for some recipes with main stats on them. Guess that doesn't really relate to the thread at all, unless there's racial differences between gathering and perception I'm unaware of.....
And I certainly hope there's currently no plans to widen the racial stat gap (which has been constant from levels 1-50) to a point where certain node bonuses are unreasonable to achieve for certain races ><
I wonder if there's any info somewhere that tells you nodes that requires certain minimum stats... :?
I'll save you some time and tell you that since 2.0 there aren't any foods that add base stats (except VIT, which all combat food adds). This is less of a problem since Forager's gear as others have shown. I always use one of my MNK's rings when mining cobalt though since I haven't made any Forager's equipment yet (except sledgehammer) and there's literally no difference in performance on that node (or the botany node in Southern Thanalan) by removing a ring if you have more than a few melds.

lol welp I'm personally not going to bother carrying special foods or potions (don't those last like 15s anyway?) in my already too clustered inventory just for one node, I wans't expecting or asking for any changes though, I just thought it was kind of unnecessary to have just one or two buff that some race couldn't reach despite reaching lvl50 like for all the other gathering buffs.
