The other day, some friends of mine held an eternal bonding ceremony. As a present for the brides, I made them each an HQ hempen pantlalettes & camise set, which I dyed pure white. (Well, those dyes were just sitting in retainer storage, anyway).

I had a couple of thoughts, though, as a result of making those presents.

1) Hemp isn't really a material that says "high value present."

2) People often write about wishing they could get one of the other racial versions of the smallclothes.

3) Crafters would love some more recipes.

It occurs to me that you could make the racial smallclothes fit the other races with a minimum of work, and call them by the names of increasingly difficult cloth. Say, cotton pantalettes, linen camise, vanya silk pantalettes? By the time you've gotten to 50, you've accumulated lingerie for all the racial variants.
