Sylvie - While I'm not a fan of very centered shots, the effects in the image really help blend her into the background. The bright light around her could somehow represent her being a hopeful beacon in a bleak situation.
Midge - Really like the off centered shot, as if she's surveying the surroundings. It feels like she's the last survivor of an apocalypse. Wish you could get in a little closer, but that would take away a lot of the important backdrop.
Koriander - Dirty and afflicted, perhaps she's succumbing to the deadly spores being spewed into the air by the flying mushroom? The backdrop is slightly bland though, and feels a little too bright to me.

Xyhr - The outfit has a great contrast (perhaps almost too much, but that's alright), and the off-set choice of background is appealing.

This was a tough one, but not for the reasons I'd have wished. Most of the shots felt more like portraits than scenes I could get caught up in... Pretty absolutely, but simply not enough. This makes me wish we could have voted during the creative process, because writing feedback and critique won't help you in the coming rounds!

I had originally written something about the four I picked, but with that in mind, maybe it's best not to post that.
