The issue is not so much "we wantz pantiez" so much as "we want something at least remotely comparable." To me, anyway. I appreciate a little variation between male- and female-exclusive sets when they make sense. There are two male-only and two female-only NPC sets that I think nobody feels the need to complain about, since they're pretty similar. The issue is that (for the millionth time) there is a set only for females with no direct male analogue.

Bunny ears as unisex, with a masculine but revealing sleeveless vest and low-cut fitted pants as the "male" option would just make sense. They could even do it by reusing existing assets (like they do for 90% of the male event gear anyway), but they didn't.

don't get me wrong on my post :3 i meant that to the majority of people in this thread :P but i do agree with you it is a each of there own, when it comes to vanity pieces like this,
and i do agree with some male only and female only, i was more hopeful we would see another ff character for women akin to Snow for men (whose coat i REAALLY want) and lightning (which dose look cute now we can dye them), if it was like that i think most of the female characters would of been fine with that, same with if instead of bunny men it was like , i dunno the bow tie collar i see on those male models, the best man suit some use in a argument is a tough one it did look good in both genders but what they forget was the salor outfit was meant to be female only, but they changed that to unisexed.
they did meet halfway with the dress to give a skirt, and i herd a rumour of kilts, in the future. so its something, :3

personaly i wouldn't like to see a mussily high-lander in a spring dress (i couldn't take hildi when he did that) but i understand people want to, so they should be allowed :3 hell if 3.0 came out with a mens only dress i'd be happy for the guys

Oke lets say Square Enix does not want to give males a sexy outfit, because of cultural differences, this still does not explain, why they did not add a second outfit for the males? I mean if they are against the sexy bunny outfit, why not add a alternative outfit for the blokes?

This is favourtism at its finest. They locked the other thread and this one will follow aswell. Atleast warn the players before they create a character with the tag: If you create a male character you will get less outfits then a female character would. Atleast this way we can not feel like we are screwed for creating our character.

Then instead of adding a male bunny outfit, they could give them a tux with another animal ears and tail. Simple if Square Enix dislikes bunny ears on males, give them dog ears. Simple Square Enix when you provide a service to your community, give them all a piece of the cake or dont give them at all, but giving one group of players something while ignoring the other will only alienate the other half of the players.

Or how about people quit with wanting to insert non-sensical content into this game. I pay to play a persistant online version of Final Fantasy by the vision of SEs' production/ delevopment teams, not a warped fan-service-esque version of how a small fraction of the playerbase want the game to be.

You should listen to your playerbase, however, it should not compromise the developer's vision of the game. Least of all a game in a long series of video games which many people have come to expect to certain standard from.

I hope the development team have the integrity not to acquiesce to every single whim and desire of a select few, and instead, aim to ensure that this FF title lives up to its moniker.

I don't know about a male bunny suit. But certainly nearest "real world" equivalent are chip and dale dancers. It'snot like they have to put too much effort in it regarding assets: black trunks/pants, that bowtie and cuffs.

Also to be fair, many of the gear on women are slutty anyways compared to the males (looking at you AF NIN and DRG) and they more or less don't have much of a choice.

It was SE's production/development teams who chose to introduce this costume in the first place. We're not asking for more fan-service-esque content, just about consistency in it. They could just as well provide consistency by removing those silly bunny costumes altogether. The complaint is that when they're adding in extra "warped fan-service-esque" stuff, as you call it, it's only for one segment of their playerbase and not the rest.

Either add it or don't add it, either way is fine. Adding it halfway, however, so some players get it and others don't, is what's not fine.
