Gold Saucer outfits, gender locked?

Definitely only one outfit I look forward to when previously it was none. The bunny outfit is ugly and ridiculous. As if people going around with swimwear isn't bad enough.

Don't get me wrong, I am all for equality in costumes but that bunny outfit should be burned on a stake. As it will be available no matter what people with taste think, give it at least to male Lalas, not like any adjustments need to be made on it.

I'm more interested about the poses of the Miqo'te girl in the first picture and the Midlander female in the second. Dare I hope new emotes/poses are incoming?

Here's the deal:
With Setzer as M only, Bunny as F only, it made it seem like male characters were cool and important to FF lore and female characters were merely sex objects.
With Setzer as Unisex and Bunny as F only, it says that both male and female characters can be cool important FF characters, but only females can be sexy.
If both outfits are unisex (or have M/F versions), then everyone can be cool AND/OR sexy if they choose. No one is limited or left out.

I for one would not want to see men wearing that, it's uncomfortable enough looking at people walk around in those sorry excuses for swimsuits, let alone a bunny costume.

And I for one wouldn't want to see women wearing it, and for much the same reason. But if we have to put up with that, then it at the very least has to go both ways.

I really don't see the problem with this. Even gives more reasons to roll an opposite gender alt.

Okay guys, please don't bring this conversation around again about how vanity outfits should be based entirely on what you personally do or don't want to see other people wearing. It's a matter of having choices that don't specifically exclude certain players.

i still love how most people complaining about how the bunny suit should stay female only (because as they said they don't wanna see men in panties and bunny ears) i want you guys to look around and see THE THOUSANDS OF MEN, wearing COURAL BREFS (its a speedo) the bikini's for men (more speedos) the sublunar (which one of my friends found out he could dye to his skin colour making it look like his arse cheeks are poking out of a thong.

Generally panties are a female thing, but I guess if guys want to wear them that's cool too. I don't think Square really thought guys would want to be running around in panties anyway.

I guess some of us just aren't used to the whole hey guys can wear girl clothes too thing. But that's not the only reason I prefer it gender based. I just like having male or female things. If I rolled a female, I'd be excited to get some female only clothes. I guess that's just me though.

But yes, I also do dread seeing men in panties with bunny ears. Not going to lie about that. It does gross me out, but like I said, to each their own. I just prefer the gender based options.
