Gold Saucer outfits, gender locked?

I wouldn't consider complaining about not being able to cross-dress as legit feedback.

Any feedback is legitimate as long as it's well-reasoned. Even if you ignore the "female characters should get Setzer gear" side of things, female characters deserved a better equivalent to that set than a freaking generic bunny girl outfit. As someone else in this thread said, if I can't cosplay Setzer, then give me the option to cosplay some other FF character.

Imagine if, for the Lightning event, female characters got a Lightning outfit and male characters got a Chippendale dancer outfit. Would you say that people complaining about that inequality wouldn't be "legitimate feedback"?

Never mind that we have Quistis Trepe who is secretly the resident card games master of Balamb Garden, all three of the Gold Saucer dates (who are also mainline FFVII characters, i.e. absurdly easy marketing sells,)
Or just, y'know, give everyone the Setzer outfit because it looks good on people regardless of gender.

I would totally want Quistis hair for my Roe ...SE MAKE IT HAPPEN. And im really hoping the gondola for the date scene is also in the gold saucer...

And also please make these new Gold Saucer outfits for both genders, some people build their character story according to personality, so I bet people were pleased when the long skirt became available too.
Setzer himself is already a really gender neutral looking outfit rofl. And you can tweak the bunny outfit for boys surely...

I think they were intending to release both outfits for the female characters, but since the male characters would only receive one outfit, they changed their mind. Instead of having players rage at them on why the female characters would receive both outfits (again), they decided to make one female and the other male. I mean, why else would there be a concept art of a FemRoe with the Sezter armour? Makes me think, they were intending to make this armour uni-sex or they see FemRoe as a male.

Regardless of what comes out, I think both female and male characters should be able to wear both the iconic FF outfit and the sexy bunny outfit. Giving one gender both outfits is not fair and Yoshi-P and developers have screwed over the male characters before, so I hope they wont pull this BS again.

So either both genders get only a iconic FF outfit or both genders get a sexy bunny outfit. But one gender should not receive both outfits, while the other does not.

Because it's not a roe, it's Setzer.

Those are some impressive hips and thighs if that's supposed to be a man. That coat has the same kind of waist/hip fit that my jacket does on my character.

Equality doesn't exist. The world isn't perfect and I'm sure you can agree with me on that. Please continue with your reaction instead of actually contributing to the matter. I'm fine with the outfits being separate. You're taking it a step further (which you're allowed to do). Implying that those things would happen takes away from the vision of SE and it shows they can't be trusted to make their own decisions.

And I could live with that... if the two outfits had any sort of equivalence in relation to the franchise. Name one FF game where one of the main characters' primary costume has been a sexy bunny suit.
(Main characters as in playable characters that are not temporarily controlled NPCs.)
