- Abilities can be learned via leveling up
- Feeding Chocobos will Raise it's attributes
- After you retire your chocobo It can be bred to make a superior race chocobo! (Offspring may inherit parents abilities!)

(A jumping puzzle-esque game also was previewed showing players climbing a central environment piece while large bombs that cause knock-back dropped onto the climbing frame, the goal being to reach the top and not be knocked from the area.)
