[Suggestion] Crafting System, Synthesis minigame, and Dancing.

The Synthesis mini-game, in total, composes of Up, Down, Left, Right, X, and O for cancel, assuming you're using the controller.

The gathering professions are not of concern here, however, I am here to proclaim the imbalance of the Movie way of leveling Crafting and the Dancing way of leveling Crafting.

As most, if not all level 50 crafters (Tailors, Goldsmithes, Blacksmiths, etc) right now ALL agree that they enjoy crafting because it allows them to watch their favorite movies while glancing at Final Fantasy XIV to occasionally hit the down button.

Speaking of which, switch the Recipe and Requested item tabs, that would make life easier.

Anyway, some crafters tell me they've watched a total of 300 movies so far, some of which tell me Jackie Chan is a great actor, so they've clearly undergone brain damage. That aside, 300 movies comes out to be a LOT of hours, 600 give or take, just for leveling crafting in this way while they enjoy watching their favorite hundreds of movies.

The argument here is that watching movies while crafting is MUCH more effective than dancing while crafting.

While watching movies, the only part of the body that is focusing on the movie is the head, and the hands are completely free to craft.

However, dancing utilizes both feet AND hands, so you must be standing up while dancing, and if you intend to craft, that poses a problem.

As much as Square Enix and I agree it would be completely bitching, keyboards, mice, and controllers do not float in midair. This is the leading problem, a massive problem.

While people could argue that it is possible to craft while dancing using a controller, those people are not looking at the more detailed picture which I am about to paint for you. You're dancing, you're flailing your arms, there is a HIGH possibility of your controller flying out of your hands and impaling your TV, Computer, Window, or Wife's face. Hopefully it's the last ones.

You NEVER hear of your controller flying out of your hands while watching a movie and crafting, unless you have a severe drinking problem, or completely high and imagine a chocobo is infront of you.

Why you would throw your controller at a Chocobo, I don't know, maybe it's because you haven't seen them for half a year.

Anyway, I have presented the problem, allow me to present the solution.

Square Enix, please develop a DDR-styled mat with those buttons compatible to FFXIV, as of now it's impossible to use a mat like this to plug in and play.

Having this would balance Movies and Dancing, making both ways completely viable ways of crafting.
