Allowing anyone regardless if its a gil buyer or a shard farming bot to stay around to leaviate players laziness or to keep the economy flowing is a bad decision that would do nothing but tell players that doing these things is accepted.

They are cheating to obtain mass amounts of gil and there is no excuse for such behaviour, regardless if its helping legit players or not.

Your pseudo-analysis of the market is complete nonsense. Gilbuyers' demand encourages RMT bots, causing a huge influx of gil into the economy. It makes everything more expensive exponentially, where legit players have to work harder all the time. Legit gatherers cannot survive anymore, unable to compete with RMT bots. The gil they made 3 months ago? Now next to worthless thanks to inflation.
Do some people honestly think that the MB won't work without RMT? Look at the JP servers, where RMT is a lot less. The MB works just fine, and honest gatherers/crafters make decent gil for their efforts.
Stop making excuses for cheating. I know cheaters like to rationalise their actions and pretend they're not complete losers.
At least recent signs suggest temporary and permanent bannings of gilbuyers will be coming.

I'm not sure why you are directly accusing me of cheating without any proof, but I reported it as such. I don't buy gil, I earned my money fairly and tediously, and will NOT be harassed as such.

I'm also not sure where you see this "exponential inflation". the prices of 90% of items are exactly the same as 3 months ago, EXCEPT for a week after each mass ban, where shard and crystal prices tend to quadruple in price due to lack of supply. at this point, EVERYTHING under lvl 50 sells for a net loss after shard prices, and I "take my ball and go home", per-say.

I'm not saying I LIKE gil-sellers, or gil-buyers, but if they are circulating the economy, easpecially with how dreadfully lackluster this market system actually is, that particular mechanic helps us all.

edit: Wow, 10 minutes after writing this, and im still fuming. saying my working 18 hours a day for 4 months to get 4 star crafting is considered cheating. the nerve!
