Same, I don't wear or plan to wear any other skill unless my gathering class is 50. They need to allow gatherer skills to become active at the same time for any other skill to be worth even wearing right now. Allowing only one to be active makes all other skills worthless until 50. Don't know if they planned anything to fix this really.

I hadn't thought of it that way but you're right. If an ability that is not the Sweat triggers, Sweat can't trigger for the rest of the node...
Already the probability of getting it to trigger goes up regardless of how it works.

Not only that. We should be able to use our skills like DoW/DoM skills. Add a recast timer and limit its use to a fixed ammount of gathering attempts or a set duration.

I just love when Sweat of Brow activates after the last gathering attempt during leves, just before you put away your tool.
