It's kind of silly that the person who just happens to get the kill shot gets all the credit. If you deal 99% of someone's life, then a DRG jumps in for the kill shot, you get 0 credit while they get 100% of the credit. How does that even make sense?

This is ignoring how flawed Battle High is for tanks and healers, as if they are going to be kill shotting all over the place. I guess it's probably better that healers don't get Battle High since they are already crazy high priority targets, but still.
