Its not really the price thats the problem or how much money I make. I guess its .. simply more of a matter of principle? We are paying for something that, I believe i've proven adequately, should be completely free, or at least purchased with in game currency. Its about paying real money for something that is digital which means it requires 0 money or effort to reproduce and distribute infinitely and in their other Non-cash shop MMO are regularly allocated to in-game purchasables. I'm aware its their game/product so they can sell what they want. It doesn't mean I accept it nor do I think its a respectable practice.Blindly? Either you think it's worth the money or not. It's not like they're trying to cheat you out of $5. You're really over-thinking it and making it into something it's not. It's a cheap five dollar item and that's it.
But you go ahead and feel proud of yourself for simply being stubborn over something so minor, lol. That's really all it is.
Its the same argument with the wedding. I know its not really a huge problem as they are just vanity gear and in the grand scheme of things its not that important. I don't think the world is coming to an end because of this, but I guess I'm just very budget minded and hate that extras in games these days are more about how much you're willing to money you have in your wallet, not about how much time you have to play or enjoy it. Its becoming more about selling you things that should be free. Its not about taking it for granted either... I'd happily pay gil or do some mini-events/quests to get the armor. I mean, i do pay a subscription because I enjoy the game and support it.
I'll work for the item, I just don't think it should be with my wallet, but for my activities in game.
My nerd is going to show for a moment.
Think of it this way. If Replicators existed like in Star Trek, and could instantly produce anything you wanted for no cost at all. Would you pay some guy 5$ for something he replicated simply because he tells you thats what its worth, even knowing he could infinitely reproduce this item for absolutely no cost whatsoever? This is how I feel about cash shop items. They're telling me something they can infinitely reproduce for no cost at all is worth 5$. The product is created and has even been distributed free of charge in a previous event, but now its suddenly worth 5$ because they say it is? I just find that concept quite silly.
Anyway... *sigh*, I do know thats not really a fair analogy simply because its the society we live in today and its we require currency and economics/economy to keep things in order.... also because the same argument could be said for Video games on digital distributors like Steam, and I don't think anyone would argue those should be free.

On one hand you guys in the forums are complaining about inventory space on the other your complaining about not having an outfit for this event. Damned if you do and damned if you don't. Give se a break they are doing the best they can. Anyway with the ones who complained about the inventory space if you got an outfit for this event where would you store it with so little space you guys say you have.
It's okay. A routine read on a routine thread, a complaint on sometime really non-existent/minuscule that buries the more important threads and issues around. Yay.
so a good idea is to bump it
I was kinda hoping for a minion.
Well we got the Chocobo Barding version of last year player Val costumes this time.
