    End-game gear not convertible

    I was just wondering something and i wanted to see if the community knows. As most of you know gear from poetics/soldiery vendor can't be converted to materia but they still get spiritbond up to 100%. Now you may be thinking "Oh, it's a way to show others cant equip it or trade". Now the relic before could be spiritbonded but not anymore on the zodiac. So why does SE keep the spiritbond percentage on poe/sol even if you can't convert to materia? Might as well do what they did with relics but they didn't.

    Probably because it's a feature on every piece of equipment and they don't want to bother changing it now in case they wanna do something with it later.

    You may be right. I was hoping to convert them and get some tier 4 materia but it seems that didn't happen. Would really help with my novus if i get lucky with tier 4 might or aim.
