    In some kind of way this may happen but it certain would be interesting if this kind of event lead to Machinist's lvl 60 Job Quest boss to be Proto-Ultima.

    Sadly doubt it would happen since Job Quest is about teaching our character about the Job we will be playing as. Still a encounter with a Garlean Engineer as our Job rival is one possibility.

    On that note: we will most likeyl see Cid, and maybe Nero, again in 3.0 Main Scenario.
