Sooooo.....Primal Summoning.

So near the beginning of 2.0, Yoshi said that we'd eventually be getting the ability to have our FCs summon Primals. Well, we're nearing the end of the 2.x era and moving on to 3.x this year, with no primal summoning.

I'm sure no one wants to hear about WoW and what they've done, but they've taken that idea and already applied it. The idea Yoshi had was taken and applied elsewhere before we could even see it.

Summon a Raid or World Boss
Players may find an item while completing a Bounty, Relic, Dungeon, or Raid daily quest from the Garrison visitor that that allows them to summon one of six new raid or world boss in the Garrison.
Summoned raid or world bosses have scaling health and is intended for 10-40 players.

Think we can eventually get the idea for our game in our own game?

The thing with phoenix? Yea, I can see how it could eventually play to that. Also with Shiva, and Enkidu. It would be an awesome system if we actually had it. 1 of 6 primals (Ifrit, Garuda, Titan, Ramuh, Leviathan, Shiva) summoned into the world via an FC. The power/hp of the primal scales with the number of people coming in to kill it. It scales up to set max values.

I think they abandoned plans for this after the zerg fest that was hunts and still is hunts.

from what i remember GC summons are not going to be like that they are a 1 time summon to help in battle then they go back into world so others can fight and capture it but not sure on full details
