I'm starting to think that I can reverse it back so I can let Medica II tick once more. Eventually, everyone has enough HP to soak the mega (provided no one messes up).
Depending on how much damage the entire group took, you will need to experiment here for a bit. If you're not entirely sure: Make the entire group stack up, pop Divine Seal and Cure III. That should be sufficient. And yes, you can actually solo heal for most of this part of the phase as a white mage. There isn't a lot of damage from the blood, mainly coming from the pain with it's ripper-claw attack. I do recommend having the scholar aid you in healing when the Sins appear.

Bonus: If eyes deal a relatively large amount of damage, have the Scholar DoT up 1 gust and bane off it so both Sins take some additional damage.

A solution I can think of is that I solo heal the last part of the 2nd adds so the SCH can DPS the storm down quicker, and hopefully get the last add down before divebombs?
I personally do not virus the first death sentence. With or without virus, the first one is pretty easy to handle. Instead I virus the pain instead while megaflares go out. Make sure there's a regen up on the OT who has the pain and if possible a stoneskin as well. Otherwise try to save your Swift Cast to cast Cure II on him/her while on the move - If you are in range and the scholar isn't for lustrate.

What does help is to quickly identify whether you have a marked megaflare or not. So pop sprint, move towards the gathering point. If you have the mark go all the way and pre-position there. If you don't stop where you are. Once your movement stops, you have time to heal up the off tank. You won't need swift cast in this case.

This is a really rare occurrence, so I can't really say with certainty. But I don't think they take damage from the pillar twice.

I've seen it once, and it did detonate twice. Fortunately i130 + a heal after Megaflare = survive with 300 HP.

This is a good suggestion. However, I couldn't get my group to ever be this coordinated since they just aoe everything. I do have time to put up 3 dots, Bane, Succor, and Adlo the OT (he gets rekt) before evil eye.

Just mark one of the Gusts with the "ignore marker #1". People can AOE and wreck shit decently even then and you can leave the ignore marked Gust alive at like 20% until the Sins spawn and then you can just Bane it up. We've been doing what Lyrica said ever since progressing on the turn, as we have a SMN and of course me, as an off-DPSing SCH. You can really feel the DPS difference there because the SMN loses a lot of ramp-up time and can Fester/Ruin spam off the bat with dots ticking. If your group can't hold back even then, well.. If you don't have a SMN the lack of one Bane isn't as noticeable, however. (While still noticeable).

@OP: your SCH should help with the healing of the tank who has the last Pain on them, before Teraflare. The SCH can dot it up when the Pain spawns, then pre-Succor for Megaflare safety netting, dodge the Megaflare Dive, then have the OT targeted and heal them through the damage if the Pain is not dead yet. Your WAR might conserve some CDs here for the upcoming Akh Morn and Ruin spam won't help much with the add, so better heal through the Pain safely.

Mm, looking at what we did last night, Evil eye takes us down to 2k/3k. For the most part I medica II > cure 3 this. Divebombs come out soon afterwards and I don't want to risk anyone getting killed to megaflare because they weren't topped off. I might be okay with Medica II > Medica though, I'll try again next week. The i130 weapon is really helping.

The rest of your advice helped us get through to Ahk Morns more consistently. If only my group didn't clip each other to megaflare and dying right before teraflare

    Thanks again
