A suggestion regarding rare dyes

Ever since the retainer dyes have been introduced back in 2.3, I've yet to receive a single Jet Black dye. I know RNG is RNG, but honestly? I would much rather pay real money at this rate than be beholden to that RNG.

With this said, my suggestion is having retainer dyes in the cash shop and metallic red, green and blue in the retainer drop list. It would honestly make more sense if all of those dyes were available via RNG AND in the cash shop.

It pleases both sides of the cash shop argument. It'll be good for the people who don't want to acknowledge its existence; they can continue gearing their retainers to get the dyes. And it's good for the people like me who are kinda tired of going - what, four-five months? - without getting the dye they want.

I kind of agree. I dont see why some where put in to shop and others just in ventures.

However, i would like these to be crafted and tradable in game more. Give rare mats to gatherers for these dyes, and let people make them. Money should not be charged for dyes in the first place. But if it is, make it uniform with the rare dyes.

On the other side of this I've received about 12 of them. I mostly get tired of my ilvl 113 retainer bringing back fish/eorzean maps... Hard work to gear her and I get a fish, I hate fish!
