But waiting to clear savage after getting higher tier gear than it was designed for is considered progression?Note: In light of 10% Echo now being added to Final Coil and no restrictions to queue, I will stop tracking kills at this point until Heavensward. This is not considered raiding progression content at this point in time; this is not to criticize or downplay people's accomplishments at this point, but it serves as a natural endpoint for tracking progression until the expansion.
A few things I'd like to note here.
1) It is content that has not been cleared yet, but has been released for quite a while. This makes it reasonable to consider it progression content.
2) Savage SCOB, even at i130, is more difficult than any turn in FCOB (I say this being in the T8 group).
3) None of the groups currently clearing Savage SCOB "waited" to go in. One of the groups didn't even exist until well after FCOB was released, and the other group did not exist in it's current form. It has 3 different members, but even that group at the time was working on Savage (scheduling issues held them back as well as not having funds for VIT melded accessories, a must for Savage at the time).
So all in all, it may not be traditional progression content, but it is still most definitely worthy of being mentioned in this thread, due to the sheer difficulty of it and with how few have cleared it.

I guess I just see it differently, idk.
I highly recommend you give putting together a Savage party a shot. Not only will you see why we still consider it progression content, but it's TONS of fun. T8 Savage is easily my favorite fight in this game after doing it. I couldn't encourage trying it more.![]()
I have before, but honestly I don't see the point...except for T9 since I like that title but eh...it's whatever
