Gold Saucer Entrance Fee? Lifetime Pass?

I'm wondering if it will work the same way. It was 3,000g for a one time pass, which even in FFXIV seems reasonable considering the Aesthetician costs 2,000g. But the Lifetime Pass was 30,000g which actually seems quite low by FFXIV standards. So I imagine something like 300,000g would be more reasonable. I'd definitely buy the lifetime pass if they go that route.

I'd also buy a lifetime pass given the option, but it would depend how expensive it is. I don't know that I would purchase it if it were more than 200 times the cost of a day pass for example.

I dont think it really needs a entrance fee. The 3000gil and 30000gil is just like a form of tribute to the original gold saucer. One of the little pieces that will make the area nostalgic.

I think Yosi-P said that the players can expect a positive balance while playing in the Golden Saucer, and that we won't be able to convert currency back into gil. The currency we win in the Saucer will be used to buy souvenirs.

The way it'll work is that you can trade Gil for tokens to use in the Gold Saucer. There will be a cap to how many you can buy (the example they gave was if you are below 2000 tokens you can buy them UP TO 2000, and can't go past that). In order to go past 2000 tokens you have to actually win them.

I hope its true for the cap on buying tokens cuz it'd really defeat the purpose of winning prizes. Why play to win when you can just buy tokens with the millions of gil u have already lol.
Hopefully they will allow u to keep purchasing tokens up to cap.
I.e lets say the cap is 2000t and you lost a few games so ur tokens drop to 1980t. The npc then offers if you would like to repurchase tokens. So u say yes and get the option to buy more till u reach the hard cap of 2000t. After you reach 2000t you cannot purchase more tokens until u drop below the hard cap again.

I think this would be fair in terms of the whole pay to win/ play to win idea.
Ppl with gil can keep trying if they suck while ppl with less gil can still plow through it if they r skilled enough.

I just hope there isn't a daily/weekly cap on how much you can win. That would be just sad. Stupid and sad. Ridiculously sad.
