I think it might be a good idea to have full group parsers available only for coil and other serious raiding content, as having good dps all around is a necessity in most coil situations, and players doing this content are not going to be casuals for the most part. I do not think they should be allowed in normal dungeons because it isn't necessary and would lead to certain people being aholes for no reason. Maybe only if it's a preformed party. I think personal parsers should be available anytime.

They would also be aholes in coils as is the case currently with non-SE sanctioned party parsers. There is little to no reason for having SE create a sanctioned (party wide) parser for this game. A single personal parser I can see the benefit of that and that won't come with anywhere near the level abuse and harassment that does come with party wide parsing.

A personal parser which only you can see would be all you need to improve your own DPS above and beyond gear, rotations and such, if not sure whether doing good or bad you can always ask others what their DPS is and compare but doing so is them giving you permission to know their DPS if they tell you, unlike with party parsers which they have not given you permission in most cases. I am okay with personal parsers sanctioned by SE but I am and will remain against any effort to sanction party wide parsers.

The party wide one is open to abuse as is currently the case shown with non-sanctioned ones, the personal one is less open to abuse yet still helps people improve. Neither versions of parsers should ever be mandatory or forced upon others however and it should always be optional just like taking part in content with high DPS checks is optional for players.
