If parsers ruined world of warcraft, how come it grew so big?

Besides, how do you expect people to explain an entire class within 3 mins inside a duty finder just because one person does not know how to play and is in a trial that is beyond his means? If you're not doing well in the basics of a class and someone pointed it out, withdraw yourself, learn the class and come back stronger. A parser can help point that out and someone in the party who knows the meta library can show you the links. Sure the group will likely end without any win but at least it's not on bad terms (if the under performing player doesn't have a thin skin). Right now players who already knows someone is doing poorly can either just keep quiet and lament/seeth or start going ham on the party chat because he does not care or start under performing themselves because doing their best is futile when the others aren't or just start using afk/kick/vote antics. Everyone doesn't clear the fight and much more time has been wasted. Which side wins exactly?

You can't seriously expect to still win when a relevant fight expects the whole group to contribute equally to its capacity and you aren't contributing as much to the party and the group comes up short? Right?
